About Us
Mission Statement
We aim to help organizations to create and carry out their game plans, under the belief than an explicit scheme is more likely to result in success than an implicit one.
History
In the 1990’s, Collin developed an interest in strategy games. That enthusiasm began his journey towards thinking about planning and execution. In 2005, he began work as a software developer, a job that amended his attraction to strategy, to an attention to process. Those preoccupations were strengthened in the 2010’s, when he developed an interest in sports analytics and the creation of his own strategies. He began digging into how various analytics worked, using that understanding to develop his own systems. He applied those methods to various sports strategy games, iterating his techniques over time. Developing and using those approaches gave him broader insights into creating plans and executing them. By mid-2021, He launched Strategy Construction Journal to share and explore that wisdom.
